I am moving to belize and wondered if a person could get a job there-I am in the automotive repair business? |

I lived in Belize City for 18 months and can only sympathise with your predicament. Mechanics are not well paid in Belize. The highest paid jobs are with the tourist bus companies (Novelo's, Tourtran etc). There are lots of people that work from home and a few well know places. You will not see them advertisied in Amandala or the Guardian, you will just have to pound the pavement. Talk to Leo Batty (Sells parts and does work). He is a decent guy and will probably give you a chance. He has a shop about 400m north on the Northern Highway. Others Ronald:Hotjobs,Monster, Craigslist and Careerbuilder are some of the largest job boards where you could apply for jobs based on your qualifications,experience and upload your resume.
