Bolivia to columbia, how?!?

Travel Info
I am trying to plan a trip from Bolivia, Las Paz or Cochabamba probably to Leticia in Colombia but am having massive difficulty in working out how the hell to get there without spending too much. Any budding south american travellers out there with any answers for me?! Ta

Travel Tips
By land it's impossible. You'll have to take an airplane. First off, Bolivia doesn't share borders with Colombia. Second, there are no roads to Leticia thus you'll have to take an airplane. I'm not sure, but I believe they don't have an international airport so you'll probably need to get to Bogota, Cali or Medellin and take an airplane from there.

Others
Yeah, fly. There are no railways that are going to take you from bolivia to colombia and as far as buses go, you could do that but I imagine it woudl be increasingly difficult since the bus would have to go through the mountain range of the Andes.

The only thing i can think of is to take a bus as far as you can to the next closest capital and then fly the rest of the way to Bogota. Then take a bus from Bogota to Leticia. You might also be able to take a bus from Lima to Leticia, I really don't know, so you might want to take a look into that too.
