I am not sure if you are interested in Canada, but the Alberta Canada economy is booming right now. The companies in Fort McMurray Alberta can not get enough men to do the work that they want done. The Pipefitters union rate is around 33 dollars there, and some companies are paying non union boys 35 dollars and hour, with lots of overtime, and 150 dollars a day per diem.
