Travel Info Have you ever been in ARGENTINA? What do you think about this country? http://www.turismo.gov.ar/ Travel Tips Had a great time! All the way from Buenos Aires to Ushuia. The people are kind and courteous. A word of caution-stay away from groups protesting or what ever on the streets. If you plan on going further south than Buenos Aires by air, you will have to go to another airport on the other side of town. A taxi is the best way to get there, but haggle with the taxi drivers. I saved myself $100 just from that episode. Make sure you try a Botana at a restaurant. I couldn't believe the feast! If you don't speak Spanish, you might want to learn. There are not many tourist traps there. Still the people are really nice. I went into the 3 story McDonald's in BA and saw a teen trying to order a burger, fries, ans orange soda. I offered my help, but he refused. Believe it or not, he got his order correct! Have fun! BUT please mind your manners. I see so many US Americans act like total jerks when they go out of our country. Others the country is fine. i enjoyed the place very much |
