Travel Info I am going to Sao Paolo Brazil, to cruise from Santos, where is the best place to stay, downtown or beach area Travel Tips Downtown - Santos or Sao Paulo? Downtown Sao Paulo is over 1 hour from Santos and wouldn't even be a good place to stay if you were in Sao Paulo. You would be better off in staying in Itaim Bibi. downtown Santos is pretty much next to the beach, Santos is not that big, so anywhere on the coats would be nice. It's a bit like a little Rio de Janeiro on the beachfront. I would prefer Santos, but if you like huge cities and nightlife stay a few days in Sao Paulo. Others Beach, of course!!!! I was born in the Santos area, so you going on a ship I suppose. Santos has the largest port in Brazil, but not very nice beaches, but great scenery. Next to Santos is Guaruja, beautiful place, surf and many beaches. So if you go to Santos, for sure go to Guaruja. Have a great time meu amigo. Learn a bit of Portuguese, will open few doors and make more friends. |
