Talk about the fort, playa blanca, etc. Cartagena is definitely very safe for tourists, it's one of the safest cities in colombia. ohh and I know that El amor en los Tiempo de Colera (gabriel garcia marquez) is being filmed in cartagena. Others Start your story talking about the carnaval and then elaborate on that. Kind of like the Colombain version of "Orfeo Negro."That would be cool. including the physical beauty aspects of columbians themselves as well as the kind hearted culture could be a good idea... columbians I've met are great ppl! a story? yes it is a beautiful coastal city. it is also unsafe for most tourists, and is not the most tourist-friendly community. but i agree, a clear moonlit night in cartagena is a beautiful sight. I would start with your reasons behind that title... What makes Cartagena stand out to you.....then i would transition into facts...... Cartagena is also very historical....
