Travel Info Is there a bad season to visit the Iguazu falls? Would going in July or August be OK? And any other tips...? Travel Tips Not. As said above Winter is OK, not cold winter, that is. May-be some more rain than usual. You may visit both sides: Argentina and Brasil Also visit Ciudad del Este, Paraguay to buy cheap stuff! Itaipu, one of the largest man-made wonders! http://www.itaipu.gov.py/ Enjoy lots of meats, "mate"/green tea and "terere"/ice tea! And three languages, Spanish, Portuguese and Guarani! Others That season is great, because in summer is too hot, and in winter (july and august) is warm there, you麓ll have a great time there. If u can, stay at the Sheraton Iguazu, the view is wonderfull, it麓s the only one that u can see the falls from your room. 2-3 days are ok for that trip, don麓t need more. I麓m from Argentina, and I went there twice. Anytime is good. But July/august is perfect, because it's not that hot as december/January. Still, bring some water and mosquitoes repelent. enjoy it, it's a wonderful place. More impressive and wild than the Niagara Falls. Never go in summer time (DEC to March) because is too hot and humid and try some B&B or lodge. Hotels are very expensive and stay in Argentina side but travle to Brazil to better sights |
