Like most every country in the world, it depends. The problem in Honduras is that the division between upper and lower classes is extremely marked. One percent (1%) of the population has a greater concentration of capital than the remaining 99%, more than half of which live below the poverty line. I believe the YEARLY average income is around $600, I repeat yearly, and the only way that is going to change is through education and the erradication of corruption within the government. If this doesn麓t happen soon, we麓re headed for trouble. Others How much what? Money? Not enough. |
