Central America is a part of North America.

Any country from Panama and above (north) is North America.

Any Country from Colombia on South is South America.

haha no wonder you don't know, everyone is giving sarcastic responses! Central America belongs to the continent of South America. Technically speaking the only countries in North America are Canada, USA and Mexico, everything else is South American. There are so many different political places now though...the Middle East is sketchy as to what continents each country is part of, same goes for Eurasia which likes to be unique and not just Asia.
