Gives me gas. Also Arepas are Horrible. You have to be born eating them to like them. They dont even make good dog biscuits
I don't like it very much. I have been many times to Cali and Medellin and you really have to look hard for a good restaurant. Cali Viejo outside of Cali is exceptional and there's one at the ground floor of the affinity hotel in medellin which is great. Other than that, I think Parque lleras has some good pizza and italian food, but everything else is mediocre at best, especially beef.
It varies varies by region. I'm familiar with southern Colombia and the food is good, if a bit basic. Lots of beef, rice and potatoes and yucca. But one of the best restaurants I have ever been to is there - Pueblo Viejo in Pasto, Narino.
What?? That shouldnt be a question, it is really really really good. I love that food, it is truth it depends on the region and you have to taste it all to know how good it is. Medellin people usually eat beans mostly. Bogota is mostly soup but it's good...good luck and i hope you like it
