I'm flying out in hours!!!! I'm so excited! What was your favorite thing to do or see there?

Have lived in Belize for about two years now. What I have enjoyed the most are the Mayan ruins - the Mayan civilization is quite interesting and the ruins are a "living" look at history. Diving and snorkeling is also great. You can either go on a tour from the main land or go out to the Cayes (like Ambergris Caye, San Padeo). One of the best places is Shark and Ray Alley - you can see all kinds of marine life while snorkeling or diving. In Western Belize there are also so beautiful places to see in the Maya Mountains. Overall, it is all good!

I went, pretty decent and laid back country. I liked the small town of St. george near the Guatemalan border, it really has thet british colonial feel. I stayed on Ambergris which was a nice place.
