Honduras - La Ceiba or Cop谩n, Which One is Better? |
Travel Info Which city (La Ceiba, Copan) is more fun, safe, etc? Travel Tips Copan....is better choice..La Ceiba....is fun place....be careful especially at night.....not good to be walking alone at night....... Others Depends on what you want to do....go to both if you can. Copan is a better city (cleaner, small, safer, quaint) but your activites are limited to seeing the ruins. In La Ceiba you can whitewater raft, visit the tropical forest/mangroves, and easily get to roatan. Copan is filled with historical sites of the Mayan. It's a spectacular place. La Ceiba is also nice, but has no historic value as Copan does. La Ceiba has great beaches and it's easy to get to the Bay Islands from there. Truthfully, it depends on what you are looking for...partying and fun in the sun? Or learning about the history of Honduras? |
