If Colombia is on the "do not go" list for Americans,why do so many people go there all the time ? |
Travel Info I happen to love it there. Travel Tips I am Colombian.....and Invite everyone to come to this beautiful paradise of a Country. We do have it all....very diverse culture with an amazing geography, flora and fauna..... The reason its on the US black list is due to the Guerilla. and as much as we invite people to this country....they do exist and people do need to warn about the potential danger. But like traveling to any country.....there is risk involved anywhere you go.....and travelers like myself know that as long as we take all potential precautions....we should be relatively safe.... Others Wonderful country and nice woman too. It's just that the United States won't help you if you are stuck there. But I agree, it is a beutiful country with a great culture. I've been twice now and loved it both times (Although once I was almost shot when I apparently stumbled into a man's "garden")! Colombia is on the travel warning list for U.S. citizens. I invite everyone in the world to go to Colombia. I am pretty sure you will love it. It's just that US government dont want any americans to be captured by the FARC...unfortunally they got 2 americans and that is why...but that is just in the jungle...i invite everyone to enjoy my country, it's a wonderful place!! good luck, nice question Because Colombia is great!
