How come there is so much ENGLISH in COLOMBIA?

Travel Info
Right now I am on vacation in Colombia and I have noticed so many signs and things like that in English....(I麓m pretty sure it麓s not for the tourists)...For example...in the mall, the clothing stores....their logos are in English (not all but a good amount)....and some stores for food have English signs like 篓coffee and cookies篓...I don麓t understand why so many places are like this....It麓s like in the United States if half of our signs were in Spanish....actually, it would make sense since there are so many hispanics in the Usa...but I don麓t understand why so many signs are in English if in Colombia...EVERYBODY speak spanish and it麓s pretty rare to see foreigners (in Bogota, in the non-touristic areas)...like...portal 80, unicentro, and all the other shopping malls...downtown for the night clubs and.....well...it doesn麓t bother me or anything, just wondering...

Travel Tips
I think that it's for tourists.
Some stores my have names in english because they are international franchise.
Others
To answer the question for the most part is money. Unicentro is in the north part of Bogota and that is ear most people travel when they come here. I have lived her for more then 2 years and i found it to very profitable for the company's to target Americans coming to the capital of Colombia. If you can read English you either paid a lot of money to learn English so that means you have money or you are native and you have money. but you don't see the differents when you go to Mc-donalls or KFC because to you it looks like the states. but you should go to other places that don't have those singes to get a good deal.

Also because the USA has given this country a lot of credit$$$ and international companys are looking for cheap work with higher profit, but like i said its really abpout the GREEEEEEN
