What is it like in Sayulita, Mexico? |
Travel Info My friends and I are staying at a friend's house there for our senior trip in late June. I just want to absorb as much information about the place as possible. What is there to do? Are there any surfboard rental places? Is there any nightlife? Any good restaurants/bars? How far is Puerto Vallarta? What are the people like? How is the weather? Can I get by with minimal Spanish skills (4 yrs high school spanish)? Any info would help, thanks! Travel Tips It is going to be hot and raining during the month of June. No night life in Sayulita. Vallarta has great night life and that is about 1 hour south on highway 200. Good seafood restaurants along the beach. there is not much to do there other than relax and swim at the beach. You may want to get with the locals about taking you fishing. The people there are nice and welcoming. Your Spanish should get better there as well. If you require more info on PV let me know at mexkimo@yahoo.com Others About an hour north of Vallarta and a very hip little town for young people. Lots of English spoken but your 4 years will be helpful. Yes surfing and boards. It will be hot in the summer. http://sparks-mexico.com/ Hola Robin, Sayulita is a surf town with right and left break's, a real laid back place, should be warm with lot's of sunshine. Lot's of resturant's in town and dancing too , go to sayulita.com or duendesurfsayulita.com , check it out. The people are great......Regard's , Duende Outside mag.
