Travel Tips
Hola! The baja is full of interesting things to do and see.

Some of the highlights would be viewing whales in many of the bays along both coasts, walking on the salt lakes, camping/fishing/snorkling along both coasts (pacific and sea of cortez sides). Inland there are lava flows, tons of hiking trails, waterfalls and hidden oasis sites to visit. The towns of loreto, mulege and santa rosalia are all considered historic. La Paz is a bustling city with old town architecture downtown. The town of Todos Santos is considered artsy with galleries and home tours.

I've attached a few of the most popular sites that you can do further research on. Travelling the Baja is one of the most fantastic trips you can take. Enjoy!! Source(s): www.bajaquest.com

to see whales and diving( but is cold)
My sister and I hitchhiked through Baja, Mexico a couple of times. Our favorite places were La Paz, Mulege and Santa Rosalia. The beaches around Mulege were amazing. If you have a chance, check out Playa Requison, Playa El Coyote and Playa Burro. We never had any problems with safety either and this was around 7 years ago. The cave paintings in Mulege were pretty cool too. A lot of Mulege was destroyed by Hurricane John back in September, but they are rebuilding.

Todos Santos has great whale watching trips as well. Scuba diving on the Pacific side and the Sea of Cortez side is absolutely amazing.
