Travel Tips I do not know where you will be staying, but the Riviera Maya is a beautiful place. The snorkeling is fantastic, but be sure to start out with guided boat trips to the best areas as Mexico has protected much of the reef areas lately. Thomas Moore Travel Agency should be running tours out of both Cancun and The royal Haciendas on the riviera. They have great tours to local attractions like Xcaret, Xel-Ha, and all of the Mayan archaeological sites. Every time we go to Cancun we book tours and trips through them.
