I am taking my family on a NCL 8 day cruise to Mexico including Puerta, Cabo, Ixtapa, and Accapulco. Advice?

Travel Info
I have 4 kids, 12-18, and would like ideas on excursions, tours and other shore activities, or just good advice on economical adventures. Thanks.

Travel Tips
Acapulco NCL Excursions
------------------------------...
Acapulco City With Cliff Divers: Enjoy hearing about Acapulco history on a jaunt down the coastline. Stop at El Mirador and watch the world-famous cliff divers as they jump while you snack at La Quebrada, above. Then, continue on accompanied by gorgeous bay views and a look at the Acapulco Diamond area.
Historical, Traditional & Picturesque: A tour to see it all. Visit old town's Hotel Los Flamingos supposedly a 50s Hollywood refuge, then take in the Acapulco Historical Museum inside the Fort of San Diego. Next visit The Ecumenical Chapel of Peace overlooking the Bay. Stop to shop before a cliff divers performance at La Quebrada.

Puerto Vallarta
-----------------------
Puerto Vallarta City Sights: You'll see the best of Puerto Vallarta including its Old Town, a visit to City Hall and the Cathedral of the Lady of Guadalupe. See Elizabeth Taylor and the late Richard Burton's homes at Gringo Gulch and we pass the Conchas Chinas area too. Beverage and shopping after.
Las Caletas Hideaway: John Houston was here. Las Caletas was a haven for the famous director, at the tip of the Puerto Vallarta bay and only accessible by boat. Enjoy exclusive rights to this paradise for one entire day, beaches and all. Eat a paella lunch and make good use of the ocean.

Cabo
---------
Coastal Highlights: So much to see. start by viewing the geographic beauty, the desert terrain, impressive coastline with rugged rock formations. Then be impressed by the local glass blowers at the glass factory. Continue on to San Jose del Cabo; stop at a cactus garden, then off to a restaurant for a drink.
Whale Watching And Coastal Cruise: Only available from mid-December through March. As if homing devices are installed, between mid-December and March, thousands of whales migrate toward the warmer tides. Look for at least six different types of whales including the largest animals to inhabit the earth, the blue whales. Keep your camera handy.

Ixtapa
----------
Take a ride with a difference and be propelled along by two dolphins in Ixtapa.

Bring out the Tarzan in you, as you zoom on zip lines through the rainforest of the Sierra Madre.

Take beach, a boat ride to Land鈥檚 End in Cabo San Lucas.

Hop aboard a pirate ship for a swashbuckling journey to a secluded Mexican beach.

Sometimes it's cheaper to do your own excursions instead of paying NCL for the ones above.

Have fun

Others
Do they like to fish? Captain Pachis in Puerto Vallarta does an excellent half or full day, might see whales, dolphins, sea turtles as an added bonus. He is near the marina where you will dock in PV. Also the Sierra Madre tour is very good, however it is an all day trip. Go eat at Pipi's downtown. Most of all have fun! P.S. Captain Pachis is very reasonable.
