Can I fly into Mexico from Australia on a U.S. passport with no visa on a one-way ticket?

I understand U.S. citizens don't need a visa to enter Mexico. Does that include flying in from Australia? Can I fly in on a one-way ticket? or must I fly in on a round-trip or onward ticket?

you need a visa. you get it by filling out a form on the plane and it's included in your ticket price. you can fly a one way ticket because of the US passport...they will just assume you plan to take the bus back.

i don't see why not . . . As long as you fill out thr MX Immigracion form before you exit the plane. . .
