FM3 card in mexico any tax advantage i own property in Mexico?

Travel Tips
No tax advantage. An FM3 just lets you stay in Mexico without having to cross the border every six months. It might also make you eligible for IMSS (Mexican medical insurance). Your FM3 income requirements MAY be cut in half if you own property.

Since you can't be working in Mexico I assume it's not income tax you are asking about. Property tax is usually not high in most places. Source(s): http://sparks-manzanillo.blogspot.com/...

Other Travel Tips
mmm, the FM3 visa IS the visa that gives you permission to work. this doesn't answer your question, and i'm sure you know this...but just in case, i didn't want you to get confused. i have one...so....unless the government really messed things up...it's the working visa.
