Is there any way to travel to Mexico without a passport?? EMERGENCY? |
Travel Info I have an emergency and I need to travel to Mexico by Thursday night. My passport is expired and I'm wondering if there is any way to get around needing it. Someone suggested I go to the Mexican Consulate? Is that a waste of a time or will they be able to offer me some alternatives? Travel Tips In Canada we can get an emergency passport in 24 hours, not sure if you have that option in the US, check with your passport office, then the consulate. Good luck Others call your congress person You do not need a passport to go to Mexico. I went there about two weeks ago without a passport. The new passport laws don't go into affect until January 2008. You could hop the fence check on a visa you go inside a box and mail it to mexico, or try to hide on a plane or boat. of course, there's also the option of crossing the land border illegally. oh the irony of reverse illegal immigration. I heard that you only need one right now if you are flying in. If your driving you don't need one until 2008. So I would drive in. |
