Either Puerto Vallarta or Guadalajara. They're about the same distance from Tepic. However, PVR is much easier to get into and out of, so you're on your way to Tepic in minutes. Then you have a 1 1/2 to 2 hour trip to Tepic. Guadalajara, on the other hand, is a very big airport, serving a city of 6 million people. The road is a bit better, but not so scenic.

mmm.. I would think that Puerto Vallarta or Guadalajara.... check on those. Alaska Airlines has flight to Puerto Vallarta, and Canada Airlines too, although there are some winter flights which depart from Vancouver to Puerto Vallarta.
