It is in the Americas, North America, Latin America depends on what your definition of a continent is. As for what you can get for a $ depends entirely on where you are. If you're in the business district of Mexico city or a tourist area like Cozumel and Cabo San Lucas you're lucky if you can get a bottle of water. However if you go to a small town where they have seen very few foreigners you may get a meal. As for South America, you are talking about a whole continent. Even in one country say the U.S. what you can get in NYC, LA, Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom is completely different from what you can get in Small town in West Virginia or the Midwest. Some cities you may be able to get a couple of Tacos Pescados (fish Tacos) in other places you may get a cookie. Others Well, your out of luck if your driving to Mexico ... its cost $2.00 to get in at the border towns on the Mexican side ... 1 soda or 5 tickets to the subway in Mexico City. About 11 pesos to the dollar When we went to La Paz last month,it was $10.85 exchange rate.It depends on where you go,but it has been about the same for quite a while. |
