Defiantly include Mexico City, it's amazing. Also, look up things on Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua..
Of course include Cancun, Cozumel. Tijuana is not the best place, but it is right across the border so you may be able to find something on that. Here's a few things about Tijuana; Tijuana boasts the most-crossed international border in the world with over 64 million crossers annually.
Tijuana鈥檚 Avenida Revolucion is one of the most-shopped streets in the world.
Tijuana is the fastest growing city in Mexico.
Tijuana leads the world in the production and assembly of television sets.
Rita Hayworth, Dolores del Rio, Santana, Herb Alpert, Julieta Venegas, Ana Gabriel and Lynda were all discovered or got their start in Tijuana. Santana鈥檚 father wanted him to be a mariachi violinist.
The Caesar salad was first created at Caesar鈥檚 Palace restaurant on Avenida Revolucion in Tijuana.
Legend has it that the margarita was created in Tijuana as a non-alcoholic drink for Rita Hayworth in her teenage cabaret days. Tequila was added later. Rita鈥檚 real name, of course, was Margarita-Margarita Carmen Cansino.
The clamato, a popular drink consisting of Clamato juice and vodka, was created in Tijuana.

Just do a simple yahoo search on attractions in Mexico. Good luck with your project, Mexico is an amazing place!
go around the corner of your street and ask the 1st illegal you come to...now that will be some first hand knowledge....good luck
