Travel Info i asked yesterday, whether a Mexican National would need a visa to travel here to the UK for a holiday and i was told that no if the stay was less than 60 days but yes if over 60 days. im just wondering how come Mexico is a country that doesnt need a visa if the stay is less than 60 days? does anyone know and would you please be able to expalin for me? Travel Tips The UK government thinks that a 60 day visit to the UK is enough time for a Mexican national to spend there and that any reasonable tourist visit should last that long. If you want to stay longer in the UK, then you must provide that you have the financial resources to maintain and accomodate yourself without recourse to public funds. Mexico has a very good relationship with EU countries and therefore Mexicans don't need a visa to travel there at all. Mexico holds as well a Free Trade Agreement and the investment in diplomatic relations has payed off well to both parts. Mexico is considered a Middle Income Country rather than a 3rd world country ranking in the 12th position between 177 countries, that economic power allows it to have good influence on Europe. Others If you'll look at this website, you'll find there are many countries whose nationals don't need visas to visit the UK: http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/servlet/front?... i just looked at this site on line about your question , you would be surprised of how many countries do need a visa to go to the UK , and countries that do not .... there are no explanations to this , each country has the right and the reason for applying rules as to visitors who enter their land ....... diplomatic relations :-) y r u so surprised? You do not need a visa as a visitor to UK. You need one for a student for 6 months, or more. Depending on your type of reason for travel, so call Mexico City to find out what you need for what type of travel. Have a good stay. |
