Travel Tips
it must be a 95' or older. well...if you are asking as a person who wishes to take their car there and legalize it, to sell. but if it's your car and it's going to stay your car...the listen to what these other people are telling you

You can take the car to Mexico up to 6 months. You won't be able to take it legally into Mexico permanently.

This doesn't mean that you can't, or that the methods to do this are illegal... they are just, how could I say this? Not entirely legal or transparent... I wouldn't do it...
You can take a car in for as long as your visa is good ... including FMT, FM2 and FM3. That's with US or Canadian plates and it can be for years/indefinitely

Switching it to a Mexican registered and plated vehicle requires an import broker. Registering a car in Mexico is expensive and insurance costs more ... so there's little reason unless you want to sell it.

if u r american you can bring the car and as long as you drive it(and no one else) you can keep it here, as far as I know.
