Need a cool inexpensive place for 1-2 wks. in San Miguel de Allende. Anyone know of anything? |
Travel Info Have to get out of Sayulita in the summer (too hot and sweaty) and thinking SMA might be a good change. Take some Spanish and Art classes and shop for stuff not readily available in Sayulita. (How I miss Trader Joe's)! Also Patzcuaro for a week as well (possibly). Need to keep the costs down and pet-friendly is essential. Any suggestions? Travel Tips Iron House Youth Hostel is about 10 minutes from the Jard铆n and close to some of the language schools. It is clean and cheap. I don't know if pets are allowed. When I was there in 2005, there was free internet and wifi. Others The hostels are, indeed, the cheapest places to stay, but I don't think most of them are pet friendly. It's just behind the artisans' market, about an 8-10 minute walk from the Jardin, 5 minutes from the Biblioteca. Rooms are around $45 and there's a fairly cheap restaurant and nice gardens.
