Travel Info How Much is gas in Mexico? Travel Tips There is only one type of gas station in Mexico...Pemex...government owned...and the price is the same at all Pemex stations. I just got gas yestersay and forgot to look at the price! But it is usually between 64 and 69 pesos per litre. That would be about 2.50 U.S. dollars per gallon Others Too much!!-- just like in the US :) dito what the first person said. in general it's more expensive than the US. (but not as much as california, oregon, washington, and some east coast states) all stations charge the same, so they rarely post the price, since you have to pay for it anyways. the real cost is the toll roads. some tolls are only 10 or 20 pesos, others are 140 pesos!! (almost 14 USD!) Yes Charlie is correct, I was there last week. My wife is from Mexico and we live in the UK. If you want to complain about petrol...sorry gas prices try here, its around 拢4.80 a gallon about $9.50 |
