Its a great old Mexican port town. A wonderful fish market with small cafes and stands where local seafood is sold. Many folk art shops with merchandise from all over Mexico. A really charming restaurant is El Rey Sol, French and Continental, pastries are particularly good. A visit to Hussong's Cantina is fun. A real old west-type saloon.
