I'm going to Cabo San Lucas with my girlfriend from Wednesday to Sunday. She's 21 and we LOVE to party.... |
Travel Info but I'm worried I'm going to end up spending $1,000 between bars and other things. What activities should we do while there, and where do we go for a good time without getting ripped off??? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!!! Travel Tips Your best bang for the buck (in regards to drinking), take "The Jungle Cruise" each evening. It's about $35 per person and it's a party boat with music that takes you on a tour around "El Arco" and lets you see the sunset, when the sun sinks into the ocean. It's about 2 hours long and it's all you can drink, beer and mix drinks. Towards the end it tends to get wild, so you start taking shots too. It's definetly worth it and I think you and your girl will enjoy it. Otherwise, some clubs had all you can drink for a cover charge, but others you will have to pay for the drinks. Also, at Medano Beach, take advantage of the "Happy Day" (not Happy Hour) at Mango Deck, where they have 2 for 1 all day and every day... that gets a little crazy too.. good luck and enjoy it!! Others You should go snorkeling. It's beautiful and fun and pretty cost friendly. Talk to the local people and see where they like to eat and hang out. A lot of the time the places they hangout are "off the beaten path" and are cheaper because the tourists don't go there as much. Give yourself a spending limit each day and try your est to stay on your budget. Have fun and don't drink the water or use the ice! Leave your cash behind, and your credit cards, and get a prepaid visa with a limit you set for spending. This way you do not get crazy with over spending.AS far as places where you do not get ripped off, well you know how it goes, buyers be aware, and i think you are smart enough to know when someone is trying to stick it to you. |
