Anyone know about Puerto Penasco?

Is it a nice place to go to for a little vacation? Where do you have to fly into? Or do you have to drive down fro Tuscon,AZ? I'm looking for some nice warm weather, nice beach, and my husband wants to fish. Any hotel recommendations? I've read some pretty bad reviews and wouldn't want to go to the wrong one. What's it like there? Thanks!

It's a nice beach but it's true that it's very small, just began to grow, but if you live in Arizona and don't want to go too far, it could be a good option.

its not the greatest..I went with my bf & I personaly I wouldn麓t go again..He kinda liked it But I prefer Cabos..10 times better:P I found nothing exciting to do & its too small, so a little boring..
We have a timeshare there (Mayan Palace) and I'll rent any week for $600, it's a steal (assuming it's available. Email me if interested.

From what I've read and heard, seems like it's pretty small and isolated beach town, not much to do out there. I would go there just to get away from everything to think about stuff, but wouldn't cosider it for any other reason. Head out a little further south and go to Cabo San Lucas, plenty of activities there including great fishing for your husband. If you're flying, might as well fly to Cabos; you won't regret it...
