Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta or Acapulco? |
Travel Info We know we want to go to Mexico on the Pacific side this fall. The question is...WHERE??? Thoughts, opinions? We don't care about shopping, but love the ocean, surfing, and food! Travel Tips Based on your criteria, Los Cabos hands down. Awesome place, great scenery, awesome restaurants and not TOO big like your other choices... Surfing is doable on the beaches closer to San Jose Del Cabo. Try it, you'll love it. Others Well Los Cabos sounds like a good option, the fishing should be better over there also, if you care, Acapulco it's so crowded i don't think it could be a good option, i like a lot Puerto Vallarta, but i don't think it's as quiet as Los Cabos. If you want a quieter place and like to surf, consider Sayulita, Nayarit which is just north of Vallarta. (Fly to Vallarta and take a short bus ride to Sayulita). You won't find especially good surfing in Vallarta or Acapulco. Other good sites for surfing are near Manzanillo and the beaches in Oaxaca (Puerto Escondito and Puerto Angel). I don't know about the surfing in Los Cabos. Good luck and enjoy. I would pick Los Cabos. I am going there in July. I have been to Acapulco and Puerto Vallerta. I love Acapulco, because it is close to my home. I hope you enjoy which ever one you choose. (I live near Tula, Hidalgo) the cabos is a beautiful place but is for rest and enjoy the nature,vallarta have not a beach very nice but is the pa rty all time, is a city small compared with acapulco, acapulco is a big city, very people but you have all service of big city, if you are fanatic of surf, the best place is puerto escondido, have the beach more important en latin america for the surf and is very cheap, ok but i choice puerto vallarta, and there are more Beach's excellent in the pacific,like manzanillo,playa azul,huatulco, etc |
