Mexico vacation.? |
Travel Info I am interested in traveling to the pacific coast of Mexico, I want to have a base city (or village) where I can drive to other towns, for shorty excursions. I am in my late twenties, going with three people for about two weeks. Any ideas on places to see? Travel Tips I recommend you to visit Chichen Itza it's a very beauty full archaeological place. Others go to cornavaca..very nice If you want to be on the beach but close to the desert, Mazatlan is a good place to hang out. You're not too far from Zacatecas (gorgeous silver city in the desert) or Guadalajara (lots of Mexican culture). If you're a surfer, then go directly to Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca. There are Zapoteca/Mixteca ruins fairly close by as well as the city of Oaxaca, but the roads are windy, so this makes driving really slow. Also take into account that Mexico is a big country. Make sure to have Mexican insurance if you're taking your own car, even if your policy says it covers Mexico. Have a good trip, whatever you decide to do! I'm from Mexico (and live in Mx) Well, there many places to go. in the pacific coast is Veracruz, there, is EL Tajin, is an archaeological place, and near is Papantla, there you'll see the "Flyers of Papantla", the food is delicious, and is a very nice place. |
