Need Mexico vacation help!? |
Travel Info I'll be going with my wife in late July to one of these all-inclusive deals. My options are Cancun, Cozumel, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta or Ixtapa. I prefer the place that has more than just a ginormous resort, crowded pool areas and a beach to offer. Maybe a little culture or inland activity to go along with it. Basically, I'm trying to avoid the most touristy ripoff joint of the five (although I know that all choices have their downsides). Note that I don't have kids, am not going to get sloshed at a tequila bar and don't fish or scuba. So none of that criteria is a factor. If you've been to any of these places and have suggestions, please feel free to share! Travel Tips Well I have been to Cancun and Cozumel and loved them both. I would recommend them. If you go to Cancun you can take a boat and ride about 30 to 45 minutes to this other Island for the day. It's called Isla Mujeres. I don't remember how much it cost but I know it was not much at all. Also if you have the extra cash then you can see about going and visiting a place called Xcaret which is amazing...here is the website so you can see for yourself(http://www.xcaret.com/). I would highly recommend you visiting that. Also Cozumel is a few hours away from Cancun so if you really wanted you can kill to birds with one stone and take a boat to the island....I myself took a bus which was not to bad. I enjoyed myself out there and I hope where ever you choose to go that you have fun! Both you and your wife. Others Hi i am a travel agent and i would definitely recommend Los Cabos, for one they have the best all inclusive on the island, so much to see and do and. Please email if you need help planning your trip.Thanks. quincy@dynamicdestinationsinc.... |
