MEXICO, so when you boo at Miss USA, was it reall about her or not? |
Travel Info READ- --- I'm not for this booing but everyone is talking about it, and just say bad things about Mexicans. The more ignorant ones say "go back to Mexico" when they already are in Mexico. I think I might know the answer, but I want other view points from the Mexican people in Mexico, so was it really about Miss USA aka Racheal Smith or was it the fact that she is from the US and is representing America? any thoughts??? Travel Tips Hey isn't about her that's for sure, did you knew that the leftist candidate for president had lost last year the elections for a difference of 0.37%? And yeah, i'll explain you how this matters, the left sided governments have taken control of many countries at Latin America, they're against NAFTA, open economy, USA trying to control some things over their countries ( no offense but it happens), they want to close their markets and make ther own economy, stop letting american investors explodes their natural resources because they have the money to do it. Im mexican and i don't think that would be helpfull but you know when you're poor (im not btw) you buy all the BS those candidates say (aka Chavez, Castro, Morales etc). So there's some angry against the president and the US, not just just for being the US but about the capitalism, i think capitalism its great but lets face it this guys are tired of living in povertry. And they think that maybe a 180掳 turn would help for a change. Also you have those HUGE universities like the UNAM that are free and their students are communist so they organize marches and protests against pretty much everyuthing the governments do, good or bad. Its hard to explain this to you without taking some time to do it =P hope it helps at least a little. BTW sorry about miss USA, but let's make it not such a big deal. PS There's some hate towards the border patrol too because they have killed some mexicans at the border this year shooting them. & yeah its nice too see you trying to understand what happened a frien from MI was laughing yesterday about that, just don't take it personal. Others whatever Honestly, my fiance is from Mexico, but truthfully and from the bottom of my heart, i feel like the Mexican people are just tired of their corruption and their economic situation... So they dont know what else to do, but boo us at a Miss Universe competition (classy)... Wooptee doo... :) It has nothing to do with her personally it is because she is representing the U.S. The Mexican people don't know enough about her as person to "BOO" her. But they do know that the country she is representing is treating its people unfairly. Me Mexicans are jealous that they are not in America. Simple fact: If Mexico was so great, it would be filled with Americans, not the other way around. i think it was because she represented USA. some people who live in USA are very nice people as some are not so nice. it just so happens that most people think that the united states government is corrupt...which i would agree with. she represented that and she was probibly booed because of it. as per the comment above, mexico is a beautiful country that has problems just like every other country. i would rather live in mexico than usa. |
