Idea's for a Fun Honeymoon resort in Mexico (not Cancun)? |
Travel Info We want something fun... but not like Spring-break/Girls-gone-wid" crowd. Ideally we want: ~Luxury and Entertainment ~All-Inclusive (with a big selection of dining/entertainment) ~Couples only (if possible) ~We want to relax all day and have fun all night Any suggestions? Travel Tips You migth try in Playa del Carmen, wich is near, but no Cancun. It's as beautiful but less crowded. There is Bahias de Huatulco in Oaxaca, wich are great as well, but the turism is more European, and there are less visitant than Cancun or Acapulco. http://baysofhuatulco.com.mx/documento.p... Or maybe some other beach in Oaxaca, like Zipolite, wich is great, not so visited, but there are some nudist beaches in there. http://www.viajeros.com/diario-1187.html... Others The first place I stayed at in Mexico is Playa del Carmen. It's part of the Yucatan peninsula (by Cancun), but it's not like a spring break area. The place my husband and I stayed at is called the Iberostar Tucan. There are some cool places too like Tulum and Xel-ha. We are going back this November! Hi am a travel agent and i would definitely recommend going to Riviera Maya, not as crowded as Cancun, but they do have amazing resorts, wonderful beaches. The best honey moon I would say to go to is to Ixtapa Zihuatanejo. I stayed in a hotel called el dorado pacifico and it was all inclusive under $150 a night they have delicouse food and they give you many lessons for I took scuba Diving lessons. And it is such a romantic place to go because it is in front of the beacxh and it isn't as croded as Cancun, Cancun is more dangerous now Xpu-Ha Palace, Riviera Maya Mexico or try any of the palace resorts Cozumel is also great. |
