Can anyone tell me about Riviera Maya in Mexico? Im looking at the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda? |
Travel Info I am 24 years old and want to go with my buddies. Is there things to do there, other people my age? Others There are plently of things to do. It depends on what you want. If you want to party I suggest to share a taxi with your friends and go to Cancun. It does not cost much when your sharing the price. In Riviera Maya you can go to Playa Del Carmen, there is Senior Frogs bar, and a lot of other bars, or from there take a ferry boat (right next to Senior Frogs) and go to Cozumel. There are plenty of bars there too. Also if you want to take in some sights or hit the beach, go to Tulum (pyramid and a great beach). Also, there is Chitzan Itza (one of the most visited pyramids in the area). Also there is snorking, parasailing, and more. Maybe search the web for tours. There are tequilla tours, pyramid tours, bar tours, ATV, and jungle tours, it all depends on what you want. Cancun is more touristy, Playa Del Carmen is touristy but you get to interact with the locals. You can also get to Playa Del Carmen from a van called a Collectivo. Theses are vans that run on the main highway, and for a few dollars go to Playa Del Carmen, and I believe also Cancun. But if you out late share a taxi its safer. Also I would not recommend renting a car or traveling alone, that's not to safe. Also, stay away from the time share people there all over the place!!! Cozumel is where it's at!! |
