Me, My Best Friend and my 18 y/o daughter would like to travel to mexico for graduation.?

Two of us have been to Cancun several times. Would like to go somewhere fun, safe and interesting to my daughter.

Thinking of Puerto Villarta, Cozumel, any other sugestions?

I had a very good time in Ixtapa. There are clubs and things to do, but it is a pretty safe laid back community. It makes it fun and safe which is important! We stayed at the Doubletree when I was there, but I am not sure if that is even still there. Try to stay in the center of Ixtapa if you go. There is one hotel off the strip that looks very nice, but there is nothing to do around it and it is about 15miles from town. Try the Presidente, the Brisas, or the Intercontinental. Those are all very close to clubs like Senor Frogs, restaurants, and shopping. They are also a hop skip and a jump away from Zihuatenejo (or a spelling pretty close to that). Go to the playa los gatos and the barro de potosi.
