im going there in august were people will be liting fireworks all day.but do they sell them in shops or stands outside ,never been there too.

The Fireworks are around 15 of September which is Mexican Independence day. They sell them mainly in the streets and in little market stands.
Yeah they sell fireworks there, That is one of the reasons I love going to Mexico, but you have to hide it from the cops or else they'll take them from you, but dude, its so awesome getting so much fireworks and and doesn't cost a lot either.
