What are the best places to visit in Mexico? |
Travel Info Help me now! Travel Tips Monterrey, Guadalajara, D.F, Guanajuato, Queretaro,Chiapas, Puebla, Oaxaca. Others If you're going for vacation, look for lodging in Ixtapa (south of Acapulco) Lots of nice hotels on a white beach. The next town over ($2.00 taxi) is Zijuatenejo - a lovely (if a bit touristy) old Mexican fishing town on the sea - with wonderful restaurants and shops and a big town square with lots of things going on. I adored it there! Guadalajara That depends on the kind of vacation you're planning to do. If it's a cultural trip you could go to several cities that has many knowledge about our culture. M茅xico City has great museums, San Miguel de Allende is a colonial city which much history within. Guanajuato also is a colonial city. Zacatecas, Guadalajara, Morelia are cities that are important in our history. If you're planning to rest and seek night life, I recommend you go to Cancun, Acapulco, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Huatulco and Ciudad del Carmen, those are beach cities with lovely beaches and great weather, excellent hotels and superb night life. http://www.mexico.com Cozumel, for sur. great diving and other water sports... I've been to Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, Cancun and a resort on the Riviera Maya. For what its worth, I'm going back to Puerto Vallarta. There are tons of things to do there, especially places to eat. Ixtapa is smaller, Cancun is overrun, and the RM places are all 'land locked'. (That means you basically just stay on the resort; there's nowhere else to go to) I like to get out and experience the area I'm staying in, and PV just has so much to offer. There is a little area south of Cancun called Puerto Adventuras, which I really liked and would like to stay at sometime. However, if you are young and just looking to party, then go to Cancun. PS: For the guy above; Ixtapa is NORTH of Acapulco. |
