Travel Info They call them Sereques are they rats, hamsters or what? Really strange looking. Travel Tips Gees. doesnt sound good. but I never saw anything. if they look like rats, they probably are. Who calls them sereques? it might be a local word to call rats, sometimes people use regionalisms for certain things. Others Stay away from jungle areas & stay on the beaches. They are rodents but they don't harm you and won't come near you. They're quite cute really! They are rodents, like rabbits. Real latin name Dasyprocta punctata. If you blow into a blade of grass they come running, they love potato chips. Cute critters, jaguars and other cats used to eat them, but since these are out of the city is easier to see them now. |
