A villa is a large home, usually with surrounding land, yet smaller than a ranch, which has lots of animals and fields for growing food. Valle is" valley "in it's exact translation, and is often used in different contexts such as a store name or place of origin. (Mercado del Valle) y (hecho en la Valle) Source(s): I live in Mexico.
