House rentals in Ensenada Area?

Travel Info
Looking for a house to rent for one week in November during Thanksgiving. Prefer to be in Santo Tomas or near Ensenada area. Oceanfront not necessary, but nice. Quiet, clean home for older group interested in the arts, not partying.

Can anyone help. I am not familiar with the area. Would love a farmhouse, old winery, or authentic mexican villa for a cultural experience and get away.

Short on villas and farmhouses, but you might check out the wine country, yes, we have one...the Valle Guadalupe, thirty miles inland from Ensenada. Great wine tasting rooms and some good restaurants in the area. Try the Rancho El Parral website for accomodations.

There really are not any farmhouses, wineries or villas in Ensenada as it was just a little fishing village before the tourist came. You can try this site, e-mail them your request and maybe they can find something special instead of just a house.

If you want real Mexican culture, you will need to head deep into Mexico, to the colonial cities to find that. None exists in Baja California or anywhere within 100 miles of the USA border. The America dollar and tourist wiped out whatever little there was decades ago.
