Travel Tips Despite the scary revelations of crime and corruption in the Border cities, Rosarito is a pleasant, busy town of tourists and locals. Bottled water widely available, good restaurants and shopping, helpful people. Take the usual precautions as you would in any big city in the world. Check out the old Rosarito Beach Hotel, the decorated tile in the reception bathroom is worth seeing and the pool bar has some 1920s style ceiling decorations with Hawaiian maidens which have been thankfully preserved. Have fun above all else. Others Don't drink the water. Montezumas Revenge can ruin your holiday like nothing else. Been there, drank that. |
