its great if you want to get drunk, but jumping beans, and possibly end up in jail. why not try something a little more...safe. los cabos? cancun if you dont go off the resort property?

There are only a few reasons for visiting Tijuana..

1. You are under 21, and you want to drink and party without the risk of getting in trouble.

2. You want to buy cheap Mexican stuff along Avenida Revolucion.

3. You want to watch bull fighting.

Otherwise, there is no reason to go to Tijuana.
if you're not street wise, don't go, you will be consumed by the locals. if you're under 21 and want to get drunk then go, but its a pretty dirty place. beggars and people washing you windshield even if you say no, then chase after you if you don't pay. if you go to TJ, park at the last American exit, then walk across. there's a cool wax museum down there somewhere but that's about all that's worth seeing besides cheap night clubs with watered down tequila and cheap hookers. if you want to have a fun time in Mexico go to Rosarito at least, its a little further of a drive but much quieter and safer. don't go alone and bring a big guy! the federalies will arrest you for no real reason. once a friend got arrested on the bridge crossing the reservoir because he said "if i jumped i would survive" and they said he was gonna jump so we had to pay them off.
