Mexicanos, doesn麓t it make you super angry when you see things like this? |
Travel Info "They only come to get our jobs", "mexico is filled with robbers", "illegal immigrants", "they are poor and stupid", "need shots", "can i drink the water", "will i get sick", "is it safe" God! sometimes it tires me, why do this rednecks even want to travel??? Travel Tips Yes, but I don't know if rednecks have a solution, specially with Republicans trying to increase "redneckness" across the country. Now, even though I have mixed feelings about it, rednecks also have the right to travel. We cannot limit them the right or distance to travel. If it helps, from time to time, traveling outside their crop help rednecks open their mind a little bit more. Just be strong and everything will be alright. Others It does not anger me, it just makes me laugh at how stupid they are....what are "they" afraid of??? i wish some of our lazy Americans would work as hard as some of the Mexicans i know. they work 3 and 4 jobs just to take care of there family. what about all of our people on welfare sitting on there butts having babies they cant afford while our taxes pay for it. its the person NOT THE RACE!!!!!! I think you used the wrong negative stereotype phrase in error. "Rednecks" are usually referred to as us southern type man folks. We were all born here in the US of A, and are tax paying, God fearing, bunch of people. We really don't like to be likened to "wet-backs" which is what I think you meant say. I got tired too.Because this people don't have the enough culture Yes, I feel very angry every time I hear that, but we have to show our pride and dignity and demonstrate them, in a smart way, how wrong they are. Many US citizens have an image about Mexicans that is totally wrong, but it can be changed with the correct information. And not only Mexicans but all Latin American people cannot accept this and keep in silence. Lets talk and participate about this with all the means we can have at hand. I am not a Mexican but I certainly get hot under the collar when I read / hear all of those questions. Common sense it the key and it doesn't seem to me that the general population uses what should come natural. Just yesterday someone wrote that it wasn't safe to travel to a downtown in a Mexican city because there were killings, muggings, bribes. I would think that those words can be used describing most cities around the world...not just Mexico. I have lived all over the world and I feel safer in my Mexican city than any other place that I have ever lived and to top it off on occasion I drink the water (call me crazy). I think that many Americans see brown skin people and they instantly think "Mexican" but the truth is many of those brown skinned people are from Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica (the list goes on and on). If you ask one of those brown skinned people where they are from and 99% of the time they say Mexico and by their accent an educated person would know that is not the truth. But, no matter where the "illegals" are from they work harder than any lazy American. I personally wouldn't do half the jobs those people do and to them the work in the US is easy compared to where they came from and the money... Kudos for bringing up the subject. Thank you for giving me time and space for my "soap box." |
