Thinking of Cozumel for our honeymoon. Any advice?

Travel Info
My fiancee and I are thinking of going to Cozumel for our honeymoon. Any recommendations as to where to stay? I would love to hear people's stories of their experiences there.

Travel Tips
Cozumel is a great place to go...
We've stayed at the Melia, Casa Del Mar, Fiesta Inn, Villablanca, and the Occidental Allegro. Of those, I have to say the Allegro is my favorite. The grounds are beautiful, the food is good, with lots of options, and it is located on the best beach on the island. If you guys dive, another plus it that it's located very close the main dive sites. You get picked up last and dropped off first, which probably saves an hour of your day.
The Iberostar and the Grand are both located even farther south than the Allegro and are both supposed to be very nice. I have "been" to these resorts on a dive boat when we picked up people and the biggest drawback that I could see is that they both have ironshore beaches.
Drawbacks are that these hotels are a ways from town and cab fare is $20 USD each direction.
For a boutique-ish hotel, I really liked the Villablanca. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were huge. I had no complaints, however, a friend of mine stayed there a couple of months later and had problems with the shower.
There are alot of nice hotels in Coz...you can also check www.tripadvisor.com. There are tons of hotel reviews on there. Good luck!!

I just went to Cozumel in December with my fiancee. We stayed at the Cozumeleno. The hotel and accomodations were very nice. The pool area especially was great. Since it is an all-inclusive resort, it included food and drinks. The food wasn't that good and the drinks were watered down. It did have a dock at the hotel if you like to dive.

I would recommend staying at the Cozumeleno, but realizing that except for breakfast you probably should eat somewhere else. The hotels south of the cruise ship docks looked nicer, but I think they are more expensive. The diving was actually really great too, but most of the reefs are near the southwest portion of the island, another reason to stay near the southern portion of the hotel zone.

There are some pretty good restaurants in town that aren't really expensive. If you're going to stay for a week, I suggest hitting the cajun place (I forgot it's name). The beach park is a very good beach. I think it was $10 each to get in and you need to bring money for food/drinks if you don't bring any. There was nowhere on the web we could find that information out.
Cozumel city known all over the world for its coral reefs and facilities for plenty of water sports such as diving, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, kayaking and more has become a 3popular tourist destination. QuickBooker.com offers a choice of hotels to book reservations for a comfortable stay in any of the hotels provides you with great value for money and on your next visit you will want to get back again for an enjoyable stay.

Too many tourists. If you are going to the Yucatan, go to Merida instead. The "white city" beautiful.
