San Felipe to Puerto Penasco?

Is there a boat or a ferry from San Felipe to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) also If you drive from san diego to San Felipe can you continue down the coast to cab o or do you have to go back up to Ensenada than go down to cabo? I am driving down the coast does anyone have any tips/suggestions/comments?? Thank You!

Travel Tips
There is a boat that will take you from San Felipe to Puerto Penasco. There is a road south from San Felipe that hooks back up with highway 1 to Cabo. However as a word of warning, it's not very good and not even paved for most of the way. In addition, it's lightly traveled and...well just be careful.

Make sure your car is in good shape, have plenty of food and water, and your spare tire is ready to be used. Don't forget the Mexican car insurance.
