Travel Info Will there be many young english people in Marbella at easter time?Is it good for clubbing at that time of yr? Travel Tips The place is flooded with English people!! Why anyone would want to go on holiday to another country where it is all English people is beyond me!! You can just go clubbing in this country. You'll be too drunk to even notice your surroundings and the weather so what difference does it make!! Others eleven of us are going in May, so I'd be interest too. there are livelier places and less expensive and i don't see a lot of young people there at Easter Hi there i went last year at easter to marbella, then fueringerola (about an hours drive). i went in march, then again in october, there was more to do funnily enough in october, in march a lot of the clubs were shut. Still had a great time though, the bars stay open, its just a bit out of season. It was boiling hot, and beautiful beaches, (and to be honest the clubs are so cheezy you wont miss much! lol) oh, and yeah everyone speaks english- try and get a day in gibralter if you have time. Puerto Banus in Marbella is the place to go. Lots of Brits, clubs, discos & dollies all year round. You will need a well stocked wallet ! Enjoy yourself. Ed. At Easter Time (which they call Semana Santa) you should forget Marbella and go to either Vailladollid between Madrd and Salamanca (stunnung places Salamanca and Vailladollid !) OR go to Semana Santa in Granada (see the breathtaking Alhambra Palace) or Seville and Cordoba (see the incredible, stunning Mezquitta) in Andalucia ... Alternatively try Valencia, Spains 3rd largest city, big university town, lots of students so good nightlife, lots going on for Semana Santa parades ... ...you will never forget it I promise you! These are lively student university towns so there's bound to be some decent clubbing ... Please please, come out of the English party and see some of what Spain has to offer... hope that hekps Philip well that time in Spain is Semana Santa and locals are more focus in religious celebrations than party but still in Marbella , Puerto Banus, Estepona, you can find some "fiesta" , don't miss the jueves Santo in Malaga |
