Costa teguise?

has anyone been to costa teguise in lanzarote, if so what was it like, and do you know where any exciting places are for the family to go while there xx

Hola. Yes I have been in costa teguise. It is quite nice, a mixture of moder/typical architechture with pretty apartments and nice ambient. The island of Lanzarote is quite small so despite being at costa Teguise you can travel/drive or visit the rest of the island very easily.

One typical yet fun thing is to go in a camel excursion, although it is very touristy, I am Spanish and I still went with my wife and we enjoyed it anyway. The camels have chair like seat, one on each side; wich help the camels balance and it is not dangerous even for smaller children.

Also there are some beautifull beaches, the wildest in the south of the island and the whole island is quite intense since it was formed by an old extinc volcano and most of the island is covered with lava.

Besides there are many palm trees, sand beaches and dunes, aond a small mountain range in the north.east side of the island with incredible views over the coast, below the cliffs. There is a beautiful open cave below grownd, no roof, which has a mini eco system absolutelly unique adn it is very beautifull the constrast between the cave walls aournd you, that become an incredible and very colorful garden when you get to the roofless area.

You can rent quads, four wheel motorbikes, for old and young, waterscooters or bycicles and you can go to many places. The only thing is that it is quite hot in Summer, July August 27 - 35 but now is probably very nice, 20-27 degress, Celsius of course, so its OK.

It is a quite relaxed island, and since they live mostly of turism they are friendly and things are facilitated everywhere if you go to hiteljust ask in reception, if not ask anyone around and you will be informed in detail about what you need. We say preguntando se llega a Roma or asking you can reach Rome, SO DONT WORRY AND ONCE THERE ASK, PEOPLE LIKE TO COMUNICATE AND THEY WILL GENERALLY HELP U EVEN IF THEY DONT SPEAK English, through signs, hands indicAtions etc. A good play for relaxed vacations with the Family.
